Rewilding Romania is stepping up its operations and works in two large rewilding landscapes: the Southern Carpathians and the Danube Delta.
For the Danube Delta, we have developed an exciting new strategy and have set ambitious goals for 2030. We now are looking for a key position to form our new Danube Delta Rewilding Team:

Background
Rewilding Romania is part of the Rewilding Europe initiative, with its own, independent presence in Romania. The Southern Carpathians and the Danube Delta are two of the current 10 (soon to be 15) rewilding landscapes across our continent where we have set ambitious targets for demonstrating large-scale rewilding. From these showcases we aim to scale up rewilding all over Europe, guided by a shared vision, mission and strategy that we have all committed to. With a fantastic and diverse team of experts and passionate colleagues from all over Europe, we are working together to make this a reality. We have already made great headways, but there is so much more to do!
As a result of new opportunities, we now have these three fantastic and exciting positions available in Rewilding Romania’s team for the Danube Delta. Are you a passionate rewilder, a go-getter, someone who can think strategically and act pragmatically? Are you self-motivated, result- and impact-oriented and not risk-averse? Are you familiar with the Danube Delta, or wish to dedicate yourself to help restore this fantastic wetland area, then we might have the right job for you.
Rewilding Danube Delta is a cross-border initiative, where Rewilding Ukraine and Rewilding Romania are working together to restore wetlands and steppe habitat in both Ukrainian and Romanian parts of the delta. Rewilding Romania is a professional and dynamic organisation with a friendly working culture. We offer competitive salaries, commensurate with background, expertise, level of experience, and country of residence. The positions are grades in different salary scales.
